Rules
1. Airline
BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft is a virtual airline that was founded in January 2021. The airline has no connection to a real airline. All data, documents, etc. provided are intended exclusively for flight simulation and may not be used for real aviation. This applies in particular to procedures and charts.
2. Flight Operations
2.1 Callsign
All pilots of BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft fly their routes with the ICAO code BFT. A valid callsign can be, for example, BFT123 or BFT167X. For charter flights, you can create your own call sign, but it must begin with the ICAO code BFT.
2.1.1 IVAO callsign
If you have set up your IVAO VID in the airline system and fly with a callsign unfamiliar with BAVARIA, the airline system will automatically reject the submitted flight.
If you have not created your flight plan via our airline system, please enter IVAOVA/BFT in field 18 under fpl.ivao.aero so that the flight can be assigned to our VA.
2.2 Online and offline flights
All flights can be flown offline or online. Online flights can be flown on IVAO and VATSIM networks.

In the forum there is an extra line for your full name.
In the airline system, you must enter your full name in the registration form under “Fullname”. This will be shortened after registration (e.g. John Doe -> John D), your full name will only be visible to our team and yourself in the settings menu.

Descriptions in the name such as Staff, Admin etc. may only be used by team members.
4. Dismissal from service of BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft
A member can be dismissed in the following cases:
- The pilot submits a corresponding request for data deletion in the support area.
- The pilot has been suspended from IVAO or VATSIM (period: 4 weeks or more)
- The pilot violates the rules of the BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft or general rules of conduct (e.g. racism)
- The pilot does not submit a PIREP within 14 days after registration
BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft also reserves the right to remove an account at any time and without giving reasons.
5. PIREPs and vmsACARS
vmsACARS is referred to as ACARS client.
PIREP (pilot report) is referred to as pilot report.
Each flight must be flown and recorded using the ACARS client provided. The flights flown are automatically accepted after submission via the ACARS client, provided you have not exceeded the permitted landing rate of -800 fp/m.
If the landing rate of -800 fp/m has been exceeded, the flight is automatically rejected by our system and the aircraft must be repaired.
A flight that was not recorded with the ACARS client but is submitted as a manual pilot report will only be accepted under certain conditions.
The flight has already been recorded 50% with the ACARS client.
You specify an alternative source, e.g. Volanta. This must include your Volanta name, call sign and date/time of the flight in the report.
Manual pilot reports are checked by hand. This can take up to 24 hours.
Flights can be paused indefinitely, but remember: there may be other pilots who want to fly the aircraft you are using after you.
For flights where the simulation rate is increased or refueling is required after pushback, our system will automatically abort the flight.
6. other information
Any member (including staff members) can be a member of any other virtual airline as long as the rules of BAVARIA Fluggesellschaft are not violated. Inquiries, complaints, problems, suggestions, etc. can be submitted via the support center.
